INTERNATIONAL FASHION CONTEST

Leonard Charitable Foundation is sponsoring an International Fashion Competition that motivates and supports talented fashion designers to create God-inspired designs.
PRIZES

Participation Beauty by God Fashion Show in Venice, Italy during Beauty by God encounter in Venice on March 2021.

Finalists will work with Aleona Isakova, an experienced haute couture designer who has dedicated herself to educating designers in a God-honoring and non-exploitive way. www.aleonart.com​​

Accommodations and travel expenses paid by Leonard Foundation.

There are NO FEES to enter the competition

The cost of fabrics and other supplies used to develop a collection will be borne by the applicant.

Submitted collections should be Inspired by the Bible.
Collections will be evaluated by a panel on the following four criteria:

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the cancellation Beauty by God contest 2020 - 2021, USA. Over the past few weeks, the Charitable Leonard Foundation leadership and staff have been monitoring worldwide developments related to COVID-19. With many countries and regions recommending self-quarantine and many institutions strongly advising staff, faculty and students to restrict travel, we know it is no longer practical not ethical to continue with our International Fashion contest 2020-2021.
We will inform you about Beauty by God International Fashion Contest 2021-2022.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR CONTEST 2020-2021
​
Round 1 – October 1, 2019 through June 1, 2020 – Applicants submit portfolio (provide link of your fashion portfolio - fashion sketches, photos, any your fashion projects, drafts, costumes and fashion designs) for consideration.
​
Round 2 – June 1, 2020 through September 1, 2020 – Applicants selected from the first round submit their collection concept and six sketches costumes inspired by Bible.
​
Selection September 1, 2020 through September 15, 2020 – Winner will be selected to present their collections on Fashion Week.
​
September 16, 2020 through February 15, 2020 – Winner will create capsule collections - 5-7 looks inspired by Bible.
​
February 20, 2021 – Winner will create and submit photos and video of 4 ready costumes from capsule collection.
​
March 7, 2021 - Finalists submit photos and video of all 5-7 ready looks inspired by Bible.
​
March 22, 2021 - Finalists will arrive to Venice, Italy with capsule collections inspired by Bible (5-7 looks) for Beauty by God Encounter and show.
​Winner collection will be shown together during the Beauty by God fashion show in Venice, Italy.
​
For 2021 our focus will be on empowering and encouraging “young female designers” - based on Proverbs 31 women. Therefore applications for this event will be open to young female designers only ages 18-40 years of age.
